A Place Where All Students
Can and Do Learn
Memorial Hall School was founded in 1966 by Donna White Aurich. It is a school designed to meet the needs of each child by preparing each student’s academic profile on an individual basis. We provide a quality educational facility where students with average or above average intellect can experience and acquire an excellent education with dignity and pride. Memorial Hall continues under the direction of Kimberly Aurich Taylor.
Memorial Hall is a family of faculty and students from all around the world. We are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Private Schools and Colleges -AdvancED. Our curriculum follows the Texas Education Agency guidelines. Classes are small and personal with an emphasis on assisting students to recognize and develop their strengths while recognizing their self-worth and the value of life itself.
Memorial Hall serves the greater Houston area as well as the International Community. In 1987 Memorial Hall was approved by the I.N.S. to issue the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility for foreign students. We have since worked with International students from over 30 countries. Most of our foreign students participate in our E.S.L. program as well as the required academic courses. We are proud to state that 100% of our recent graduates are attending colleges and universities.
The uniqueness of Memorial Hall is emphasized by the fact that we have become, and serve as “family” for many of our students. This is true for our International Students and those from the United States. This is evident from the personal feedback, which exists, teacher to student, student to teacher, and student to student. We promote a sense of pride, stability and sound development of intellectual abilities. We recognize our responsibility in providing a child’s learning experience to be meaningful, successfully productive and pleasurable.
